  • Great for horse lovers! Living in Norco is a horse lover's dream, as the city is filled with miles of horse trails, with hitching rails and corrals all over town to park your animal while doing errands. Known as Horsetown U.S.A, Norco is the home of the George Ingalls Esquestrian Events Center, which holds horse shows on the weekends, free public rides and the California Finals Rodeo. Horseback riding is also a big part of the Norco Fair, which takes place Labor Day weekend and involves a beauty pageant, rodeo, calf roping, and a pet parade, among other events.
  • New housing stock! Norco saw a huge uptick in home construction in the late 1990s and early 2000s, making it a great city to find rent to own houses. Some areas that have newer houses for sale are the Norco Hills area in the southeastern part of the city, which saw quite a bit of new home construction in the early 2000s, and the area around the Naval Surface Warfare Center closer to downtown.
  • Great for commuters! Norco's location just northeast of Orange County and south of Ontario International Airport make it a great location for commuters, who can enjoy the laid back country atmosphere while still being close to work. Neighborhoods with a lot of homes for commuters are the Hamner Avenue/Norco Drive area in the northern part of the city along the Santa Ana River and the City Center area. Their proximity to Interstate 15 makes them hot spots for commuters, as they have extremely low vacancy rates.
